Park from just £1.50 with NCP at The Rushes

NCP, the UK’s largest car park provider, has re-launched its tariffs at The Rushes car park in Loughborough to support the shopping centre, the retailers and town centre workers.  Since May 9th the new rates have seen a one hour tariff introduced at just £1.50 as well as a new Early Bird tariff which means that people parking all day at the car park, who enter the car park between 6am and 9am, will get a day’s parking for just £5.

It is hoped that professional businesses, retail & leisure and shopping facilities in the town centre will all reap the benefits from NCP’s cheaper tariffs.

Brian Devonshire, Head Of Operations at NCP, says ‘It is important to NCP that we support the local town centre by offering relevant parking deals for the people who will really benefit from it.  We researched who was mainly using the car park, and how long they were parking for, and have launched a new tariff board that is aimed at them specifically, with cheaper prices in the most popular bandings that we hope encourages our regulars to keep parking with us and supporting The Rushes.  The new tariff board offers more choice, but on the whole it offers much cheaper parking for those customers who are using the car park for up to 3 hours at a time, or those wanting to park all day before 9:30am.  We want the results of the new tariffs to have a really positive impact on the customers at the Rushes, as well as encourage workers and commuters to park with us on our new early bird day rate.  We hope it will bring even more customers to visit the Rushes, and help support the local economy.”

The Rushes NCP has also recently been awarded a newly launched parking standard, the Disabled Parking Award (DPA), from Disabled Motoring UK aimed at improving parking for disabled people and reducing abuse of disabled spaces.
